“Excellent little slow cooker
”

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I love this little slow cooker, it is just the right size for the two of us. Wouldn't be without the auto switch and have made a curry, stew, braised brisket joint and rice pudding etc. great addition to the kitchen

“Love this little pot.....!
”

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I was bought one of these for Christmas as I am a student who spends a lot of time on placements, so I need something to help me make easy dinners when I get back. It is a brilliant help and the perfect size for me and a friend to have a great meal from. It's not burned anything as of yet and I've only had one disaster, though that was a bad recipe and not the cooker's fault! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with busy days as you just put ingredients in it, switch it on and wait.......easy peasy :)

“Tea for two
”
by Zoe Clarke
Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
This is an easy to use, cracking little piece of kit. However, I'm going to give it to my mother and buy a larger one, because with three mouths to feed it's just a bit too small. Thoroughly recommend for two, though.

“good purchase

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I saw the comments about the small size of this cooker and but it's fine if you're cooking for one or two. I like the fact that it does not take up too much space. I have just cooked chicken thighs and drumsticks for three people with no problem. I thought having only two recipes was a bit skimpy and suggest you add one chicken, one vegetable, and one fruit recipe just to give people the idea. Then they can buy your book if they still feel stuck or just go to a slow cooker website for more ideas. I intend to experiment with using less liquid as there was too much, tho useful as stock.

“Delighted
”

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
Bought one for my widowed, 89 year old mother. She'd never used a slow cooker before but is delighted with it. I can now stop worrying abut whether she is eating proper hot meals! The instruction book only contains a couple of recipes, which is a shame. All the other recipe books I've found are for bigger slow cookers. Please Lakeland - improve the instruction book by adding more recipes for its size!

“Good size for two
”
by Marie
Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
This basic slow cooker became an indispensable gadget in our kitchen. I work full time and it’s nice to look forward to a hot meal at the end of the day. The size is sufficient for two normal appetite. I like to consume everything on the day and would like to avoid freezing leftovers so this suits us fine. One request, if I may, I would like to find a tin which will fit into this small cooker so we can enjoy making dessert, cakes and bread for two. Lakeland, can you help?

A note from the team: Thanks for your feedback. You can bake directly in the ceramic pot. We'd recommend greasing the pot then lining it with greased baking parchment (ours is product reference 5512), and it should be cooked on high. We'll certainly pass on the suggestion for some tins to fit in this pot.

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I wish I had brought one years ago I use it at least 3 times a week. My daughter in law said that Which Magazine had voted it the best so she had the large one and I had the smaller of the two, I was amazed that I could cook two lamb shanks in the small one..The two slow cook books that I brought as well was for the large slow cooker so I have to adapt it for the small slow cooker which I have fun with I will recommend it......

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
One of the best Christmas gifts I have ever received! As a single person the size suits me well. I have found it easy to use and perfect for making broth, tattie soup and casseroles so far. It seems to be of good quality manufacture and I can see me using this for a long time to come.

“1,5 l slowcooker
”
by Eva
Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I've bought it, after reading all this good reviews, cooked some great dishes in it and was so pleased, that I went to the Lakeland store and bought 3 more as Christmas presents. Unfortunately, today I have noticed a crack in the metal lining making the pot dangerous to use. If any liquid got to electric element, it will short-circuit. Perhaps I am just unlucky with this particular one, but the metal used on the outer pot is indeed very thin making it not very durable. Great disappointment, I did like the size (perfect for 2) and makes cooking so much easier.

“Simply brilliant!

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
Get into the habit of using your slow cooker and dine well, save money and have a delicious supper waiting when you arrive home, tired and hungry, on cold winter nights. Also try it for poaching fruit such as pears and peaches. The gentle heat allows the wine or syrup to penetrate the fruit without reducing it to mush. Mulled wine made in a slow cooker is always at the correct temperature! A brilliant product at a bargain price!

“Slow Cooker
”
by Mrs Parker
Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
This is brilliant, we use it in our motor home. To come back after a long walk to a meal makes our holidays a break for me too. It fits in the sink whilst travelling. My only criticism is that I wish it was 2 or 2.5 litres large.

“useful little cooker
”

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I decided to buy two of these cookers, so I could have both a dinner and dessert when I came home. They are really easy to set up, and while small, are quite suitable for moderate appetites. Creamed rice comes out really well, and so does a sponge pudding. Vegetables look and taste fresh. A small joint of pork was perfect. Altogether, an excellent buy.

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
When I saw this advertised it occurred to me that now there is just the two of us this would serve us better than our large crockpot. It is great just the right size. I have only had it a week and already used it most days. Prepare the meal and the rest of the day is our own. Well done Lakeland and a good price too.

“Easy to get started
”
by Rachel
Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I bought this as I generally just cook for myself so wanted something small and economical, and to have a meal ready when I get in in the evening. I have used it a few times now and it is really good. I would say it cooks things faster than recipes I’ve tried (when it says 7-8 hours on low, I’ve checked after 5 and it's been ready). Can't wait to try more recipes and would definitely recommend it.

“Excellent quality
”
by Julie
Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
I am not new to slow cooking. I wanted a new one in this size, of which there aren't many about. I have given it it's first try and the results are excellent. I particularly find this size ideal for desserts which is what I wanted it for mainly. I like it so much that I have just ordered the bigger one, which I will be using for all the savoury foods and also I want to be able to get a bowl/souffle dish in, or individual ramekins. So with the two I can make a whole meal at the same time!! I have searched the marketplace for a good buy at a good price. I thoroughly recommend these slowcookers.

Lakeland Brushed Chrome 1.5 Litre Slow Cooker
Once my only daughter left home, I did not see much point in cooking an evening meal for just myself, cheese and biscuits would do! but my daughter was given a slow cooker as a present and said: Mum why don't you get one it's just what you need you can pop in a wide range of ingredients and let it cook, when you get home from work, it will be ready, so I took her advice and but this cute little one and I'm very pleased.I would suggest you provide more recipes with it or maybe a list of combination of ingredients to try.

This is a brilliant little slow cooker - it's perfect for breakfast porridge (we use a timer plug to get it started while we're still asleep). I recommend it enthusiastically!
