Lakeland 2 Slice Toaster Cream
I have just received the toaster and am very pleased with it. This was bought with a matching Lakeland jug kettle and the colour match is identical, the quality of the product is excellent, as is the attention to detail eg the cream lead and plug. The toast produced is even on both sides, and it does what a toaster is supposed to do, "toast".

Bought this to go with jug kettle. Love the cream colour. Not yellow. Goes perfectly. I Like the simple retro style. Tosted perfectly from first use. This has never happened to me before with a toaster. Have only used for bread so far!

Lakeland 2 Slice Toaster Cream
I am very disappointed in this toaster, which I purchased recently. The body of the toaster gets very hot when it is in use. The only setting we have found to suit us is the lowest, so that if we wanted a piece of lightly done toast this is impossible, and finally it isn't the close match to the companion kettle, I was hoping for. It's also expensive for a 2 slice toaster.
A note from the team: Thank you for placing your review. We note that you purchased the kettle at a different time to the toaster, this mat account for the slight differing colour tone.As the toaster has a metal casing this may get hot when in use.
