Lakeland Stick Blender

I bought this blender a couple of weeks ago and have to say it is really good. Much better than my last one! What I like best about this product is, it is very easy to clean and because of the case is also easy to store. No longer do I have to rummage around drawers for the bits and bobs - it sits neatly on a shelf. I had a couple of other bits with this order too - but I have only just realised I didn't get my free gift!!! Mind you it's not the gift that makes me buy from Lakeland - it's the quality products and wonderful costomer service. Well done everyone.

Lakeland Stick Blender

My cousins bought this for me as a xmas present as I'd said I wanted to make soups.

Easy to use, and blends the soups to the consistency you want. Several speed settings. Can blend straight from the pan (as long as you cool it down a bit first) so less mess and washing up than faffling with a bigger blender. Haven't quite figured out what the beaker is for though. Is it just to contain food or can I blend in the beaker?

Sometimes when you blend, it can gurgle and splutter a bit, but you just stop, then press button to blend again.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. The beaker's handy for blending small quantities such as egg yolks or egg whites. Keeping the blender close to the base of the pan also helps to reduce splashes. Hope this helps.

Lakeland Stick Blender

I blended some (tinned) pineapple this morning with my blender (couldn't fit my jug blender together!) and decided to add a little celery to see how it coped (fine!) and then a chunk of (raw) carrot. I was amazed at how easily it managed everything. Amazed and delighted! Much easier to clean than my jug blender and saves me having to buy a juicer (though obviously there was a little pulp in the smoothie).
