“Going strong

Lakeland Silicone Cupcake Moulds
I bought 3 sets of these a couple of years ago now, and they're still brilliant! Saves space by not needing special pans as they hold their shape in the oven and also very useful for holding paper cases so they don't spread out. Don't know what I would do without them :)

“Love these moulds

I love these cupcake moulds. They are easy to clean and so cheerful while I'm filling them. I have 2 sets and that seems the perfect amount.

These are amazing, the kids love them and because they are reusable they are so much better for the environment too! Plus they have the added advantage of being different colours so that each child knows which is theirs!! I am buying more though because 6 is not enough. My only observation is that I (like many other people) wish they came in packs of 12 because no one usualy bakes 6 cupcakes!!

I have just bought a second set of these, so delighted with the first. It's just great being able to get the whole cake out! Wash and cook perfectly.

Love these- the size, the colours, the easy cleaning, but I wish there were 12 in the set like the mini cases as most recipes are for 12 cupcakes.

I bought these a while ago, I have used them twice and had excellent results, but ended up going back to paper cases, as there isn't enough most recipes are for 12 cakes. Would really like some tips on doing jelly in them as it sticks!

I love my new cupcake moulds, they stand up nicely on a baking tray, are compact to store in my tiny kitchen, and the cupcakes and muffins pop right out (so long as you let them cool a bit first!). My only request would be to make an even larger size!

These save me a fortune on cake cases as my daughter loves making cakes using these. So easy to wash and use. Lovely item well worth the money.

“Disappointing

I bought these a while ago and have just had the chance to test them out for jelly moulds but after leaving the mixture to set over night it wouldn�t come out in one piece. I haven�t yet tried them for cupcakes but I hope they will be more satisfactory.

I couldn't resist these when I saw them - only criticism is there aren't enough in the pack so I need to buy more! They look great and work perfectly.

“Great item

I'm surprised other customers had such problems with these, maybe it depended on the cakes being made. I used them for making regular cupcakes and they worked like a dream. I didn't even need to grease them (mainly because I forgot!) They are easy to clean, to store and I will certainly never be buying the paper variety again. I love the re-use aspect!

“Really disappointed

When I used them for the first time they looked great but when I took the cakes out of the mould it had crack. I don't know why? The mould wasn't hot. I'm really disappointed

I bought these thinking that they would be perfect for cupcakes and muffins. When I made some chocolate cupcakes for my daughter's birthday, the cakes stuck so badly that some came out in two pieces (top and bottom). The cases then took three washes in the dishwasher to clean. I wish I'd just used paper cases.

These are cheerful little moulds and certainly brighten up the lunchbox. However, I do agree with other reviewers that it would have been better if they came in packs of 12 rather than 8. On first use, I also burnt the base of the cakes. I now use them with the oven at a lower temperature and the results are just tip top!

Really pleased with this lovely item - although expensive compared to my tried and tested other set costing £1 from a well-known supermarket, they do seem to be groovier colours, thicker silicone, excellent quality which will no doubt last. I do agree with Fiona though, in that you really need 10-12 in a set to be truly useful. I have given them 4 stars instead of 5 just due to the cost based on 8 moulds. My 3 year old daughter thinks they are truly fantastic and I am looking forward to trying them out.

I was given the cup cake moulds for christmas and have just tried them out. I used a baking tray and placed the moulds on this. Result - the bottoms are burnt. My next effort will be using a rack hoping that this will stop the burnt piece. Rest of cakes perfect. I am a man but I do bake cakes for the church fund raising events.

...why oh why are there only 8 per pack when the majority of recipes are for 12 muffins?! I ended up buying three packs so that I can keep 12 myself and give 12 to someone else as a gift!

I have been looking for something to bake buns in my Remoska cooker for ages, now I have bought some of these, I dont need to look any further, they work brilliantly, and all 8 fit in it. No more strange shaped buns for my family any more

Very good item, but I have never baked a batch of 8 cupcakes and have being doing the rest in good old paper? Could we have 12's please... if they ever go for repackaging
