“Perfect for yachting!

Great fun, easy to use, freezes quickly and above all is refreshing. A quick tip, tell who ever is using them to twist it back after using it. Makes for easy washing and re-use. Montenegro 40 degrees heat these are perfect with local fruit juice!! Don't look any further just buy a few packs today!

“Fantastic!

I bought these last week for our 12 year old son who cant have bought lollies because of intolerances.We are able to make our own juice/ fruit puree mixes to put in them.Our son is thrilled with his ice pops. They are very sturdy and dont take too long to freeze.

“Great Potential to be a brilliant product

I initially thought these were a bit expensive. I thought they were a great design though so purchased 2 sets. The idea is great especially how the handle doubles up as a lid preventing them leaking in the freezer or dripping when eaten. Sadly they have not lived up to the potential they have to be a brilliant product and I'm very disappointed. One broke when dropped which I was supprised by and the twisting mechanism on 1 has stopped working. They were very hard to clean even when left to soak and gathered mould making them unuasable. Very dissapointing when they could have been so good.

“Good product, mostly!

Bought 2 sets of these last summer - were always being requested by our 2 children- I buy fresh fruit juices when on offer and freeze those in them. When their friends are round I can offer them one as don't have to worry about stained clothes + if their Mum's come to collect them early they've taken them to finish off in the car home- no mess. We took them out of the drawer at the weekend and one of the purple ones unfortunately leaks now, there is no crack-the base just doesn't seem to fit in as tight as the others.

“Carefully does it

We really loved these lolly moulds, great for fruit juices and helping with the kids 5 a day! But as per the previous reviews 2 out of the 4 have broken.

I was really impressed with the idea of this product and my two young children love them. However they are difficult to clean and I was really dissapointed that the twisting mechanism on two out of the four Twistix's broke today... :(

“Not as good as i thought :(

Despite my love of Lakeland, both my Husband and I were looking forward to making these ice lolly's for our son and thus saving money through not buying ice lolly's from the supermarket, the moulds were fine for about 2 weeks but after washing a few times and attempting to dry (left on the draining board for 3 day's) they were still damp inside and mould started to form, as a result of this we felt we had no option but to throw the moulds in the bin, we are all (including our 2 year old son) very disappointed and are now spending more again on our regular visits to the supermarkets :(

“Twistix Lolly Moulds

My daughter-in-law bought these lolly moulds for me last Sunday - by tuesday I was having problems with the yellow mould - probably just a small defect - can happen to the best of them. I think the moulds are great and i'm going back, on Sunday, to treat myself to another set. Four just aren't enough. I'm doing the Slimming World healthy eating plan and find that these moulds are great for yoghurt with additional bits of fruit thrown in. Staves off the hunger pangs for longer. Would recommend these to anyone who loves lollies.

“Great idea, shame their hard to clean

I bought a set of these last year and initially thought they were fantastic and would have given them a 4* rating. This year I have been using them again and am really disappointed. I was cleaning them the other day and looked carefully and could see black under the twist up base. I found that the opaque plastic had hidden the fact that there was a ridge on the base where mould had grown. My husband took the twist up part out and we put the lolly maker in the dishwasher and ran it through 3 times and there was still mould tucked in the base that would not get out. I thought I had been cleaning these thoroughly in a hot dishwasher after use - I am now worried that unknown to me the kids have been using these with mould hidden under the twist up base. I have now thrown them all away and gone back to my sip and lick lolly makers which are easy to use and keep clean.

“Potentially very good

The kids loved making lollies for these and then eating them. I find them hard to clean, the only thing wrong with them.

“Twistix lolly moulds

I bought these as I was fed up with trying to get one lolly out at a time from the row of four. Superb with orange juice but not so good with runny yoghurt. The lollies froze very quickly but I was a little concerned that they were not very easy to clean when filled with anything other than a liquid. Took me ages to clean the yoghurt out from below the drip barrier and could be unhygenic unless,of course, I was doing something wrong.

After trying all sorts of different lolly makers in the past I finally found some that work - they have been in constant use since they arrived (although I think that may have something to do with the weather we're currently experiencing!). These work because if you only want one lolly you only need to take one, not 4 or 6 and defrost the lot trying to get 1 out of the tray..., these work because the lids keep the liquid in so you could lie them down to freeze if needed..., these work because the lollies twist up so the whole thing doesn't go flying off the very flimsy plastic sticks that other moulds offer and the drip catcher really does catch all the drips and if the kiddies get bored the lids go back on and they can come back to them later. And much as a fan as I am there are a few things that could be better - as a previous reviewer said the plastic is quite brittle, one of ours has cracked after being dropped (a not uncommon occurence with small children and wet plastic!), the drip catcher is great for catching drips but it also makes washing the moulds a bit of pain especially if you've made smoothie lollies with real strawberries... the youghurt and the pips tend to stick to the underside. And the price; it would be better if there were 6 in the set because in our house there's always someone without one.

These lolly moulds are really great for children. Gone are the days of t-shirts stained with lolly juice and sticky fingers. No mess, no fuss, I cannot rate them enough!!

These are fantastic, after searching for years I finally found the perfect home making lolly solution, there are holes where you put in the liquid so instead of it melting everywhere it just flows to the bottom of the holder, a lid for when your freezing it that transforms into a handle however I was a little worried about their ability to deal with extreme temperatures as suprisingly one shattered when dropped accidently when it was cold, an expensive accident I really thought they'd be more sterdy. On the whole fab though perfect summer purchase...
