Bakingenius 2lb Loaf Tin
Lakeland world exclusive
Our Buyers first heard of a new, pure silicone non-stick surface being developed by Teflon® almost a year ago, and knew straight away it was exactly the kind of innovation we thrive on. So we joined forces, and Lakeland is now very proud to introduce Bakingenius - a range of silicone-coated bakeware that gives new meaning to non-stick.
What do you get if you cross a raw egg straight from the fridge with a non-greased, just-out-of-the-oven baking sheet, and then just for good measure put them into a hot oven for 10 minutes? A cooking catastrophe; a dishwashing disaster?
We watched in horror as Veronica, one of our Buyers, did just that with the Bakingenius Baking Sheet. But then, as she tipped the tray up, gave the egg a bit of a nudge and we watched it slip off... well, let's just say our flabbers were well and truly gasted! Even more so when the tray came up good as new with just a quick run under the tap and a light rub with a washing-up brush.
Oven safe to 220°C.
Please note: size includes handles.

“Pure Genius
” by Dave
Loaves, straight from the oven, s-l-i-d-e out of these tins as you tip them onto a cooling tray. No joke. I used the 'Delia recommended' tins for some time with reasonable success - until the non-slip didn't. I tried silicone 'tins' but they bulged out all over the place and it's fiddly getting the moulds off the loaves. Having baked bread for several years, I have never been so happy. The tins give a longer loaf than many others on the market, so you'll need to add more flour for a decent sized slice.
OK, they're not cheap, but you rarely get quality on the cheap - and they would make a superb Xmas prezzie for the baker in your life (even if that's yourself).

“Great So far!
” by Annette Griffiths
I bought one of these tins a few weeks ago and so far it has done everything the description promised. It really is non-stick so far and did clean perfectly. It has encouraged me to buy products from the range in the future.

“Bakingenius loaf tin
” by Lesley Plummer
I purchased this tin together with the square cake tin and 12 cup cake tin. I can only say that baking is now such a pleasure, as even with the cup cake tin you don't grease it and they just fall out when tapped. The loaf tin is wonderful for fruit cakes and again turn upside down and it slides out with ease. I will now purchase the rest of the set.
