"Still ended up with black over ripe bananas"

We have tried this bag for some months now, only my husband regularly eats bananas and it took a while for him to let me know they were still blackening and over ripening. He had left them in too long and they started to get mouldy which I now cannot wash from the bag.... Not a product fault but worth noting for other users to check the contents frequently! Anyhow I tried using the bag myself and eating some bananas regularly but found he was right for once ;) I am disappointed because normally Lakeland items do exactly what they say on the tin...

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. Mould spots can occur as a result of moisture on the fruit to avoid this give the bananas a wipe before placing them in the bag. If you do get mould spots you can wipe them with a little bicarbonate of soda and water and leave to dry thoroughly. I'll be in touch shortly.
