I have been looking for a "girdle" - as we call them in Scotland - to bake my drop scones for months, but could not find one with a smooth surface before I found this one. Though a bit expensive, it is obviously very good quality and probably value for money. I had been using a frying pan before but found it difficult to flip the scones because of the deep sides - [I have arthritis in my hands and elbows] - but this pan is perfect, as are my pancakes now! Thank you.

I have been looking for a long time for a 'girdle' that I could use on my induction hob. This one is quite pricey and so was hesitant to spend out so much if it was not going to be useful. My girdle scones are a great success - just as good as my mother's - and that is very hard to beat!

Don't go past this griddle if you want to make super duper pancakes.
