Bought this to replace an electric one which was a bit of a faff to use. Made Greek yogurt yesterday and it is far superior to the shop bought kind. A very kind lady at the store explained exactly how the yogurt maker worked (she really knew her product) and even gave me her recipe for plum compote with red wine, very scrummy it is too. Would highly recommend this product, definitely a gadget that will NOT end up in the cupboard.

Totally Brilliant and Absolutely Delicious!”
by Elizabeth Lane
So glad I took the plunge and bought the EasiYo - we get through a lot of yoghurt and I was concerned about how much sugar was in the shop bought stuff. The mixes are delicious, especially the Greek Yoghurt ones. Plus it's crammed full of bio goodness too. The EasiYo is the simplest thing to use - no wires or plugs so very economical too. I leave it to work overnight, and we have lovely yoghurt waiting for us at breakfast. It's easy to clean and washes in seconds. Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

First time buyer”
My partner saw it & wanted to buy easiyo but I'm not a great fan of yoghurt. So for being half price what harm can it be. Couldn't wait to get home & try it but after reading the instructions I thought OMG there is no way, it won't work. Got it all together, now it's fingers crossed & hope for the best. This morning it has set & I was so pleased with myself. I am going to try a smoothie using the yoghurt. This is a must have in your kitchen

Brilliant Idea... but runny yoghourt!”
by Jasmin Rita
Made up the powder with tap water as instructed and 21 hours later I have runny lukewarm inedible white stuff! Rather disappointed as I had thought about buying the set for a while. I will try again but as an experienced cook I cant see where I went wrong?

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry for the disappointment. It sounds as though the temperature may be too high. There are lots of useful tips on the EasiYo website that will help.

Easy and economical Yoghurt to Your Taste.”
by Mr Hyde
I've only used my EasiYo once but I'm already hooked. I added a little vanilla bean paste to the provided plain yoghurt mix, and whilst this first attempt was a little too sour for my taste the yoghurt was thick, creamy and delicious. What's more it soon mellowed, and with a couple of days the sourness was no longer an issue. The excessive (subjective) sourness was no doubt the result of me leaving the yoghurt to culture for over 8 hours. The literature provided advises a 6-8 hours culture; the longer, the more sour. So I'll be trying out a 6-7 hour culture next time.

I bought my kit last week and made my first batch of yoghurt with some trepidation, however I needn't have worried - it was so easy to do, and the results were fabulous! Lovely creamy yoghurt - made during the day and chilled in the fridge overnight. The second batch was even better - make sure you shake the mixture really well and the results will be smoother. Highly recommended!

I'm a dedicated yoghurt eater, and have made my own in the past. This is just too easy and delicious. The lemon mousse is so gorgeous, cloud soft and light. I'm totally hooked, gonna try the strawberries and cream next! Mmm!

Is so impressive when you say "home made yoghurt" - but this kit is so easy that when you let people into the secret you do look a little less fabulous in the kitchen! Anyway, so glad I did it. Leave it over night, having followed the instructions and voila, fantastic yoghurt for eating on its own, with fruit, with the squeezy fruit squirt/compote you sell (yum!) and in currys etc. So glad - I have been back three times in a month since I bought the kit! Time saving, money saving and above all it tastes great.

What took me so long?”
by Deborah OBrien
I really wish I'd tried this sooner! It makes fresh, easy peasy, great tasting yogurt at a fraction of shop bought prices. I am now eating more yogurt than I did before because I don't have to worry about high prices on branded yogurt, or if my local shop has had a delivery this week. I have tried the yogurt cheese and I love it. Also, there is no need for expensive, branded soft cheese any more. I love the plain varieties best as I can make them sweet or savoury as I choose. If, like I did, you are sitting on the fence, then jump! It is great tasting yogurt that leaves you in control!

I really liked the easiyo yoghurt maker because it's so easy to make and I always get thick yoghurt but it's always a bit sour, I wonder if that's how it's supposed to be.

A note from the team: Thanks for the review. The manufacturer’s advice for customers, who like their yogurt milder, is to take it out of the yogurt maker after around 8 hours. You can also us Easiyo fruit squirt, fresh fruit, muesli etc to sweeten plain yoghurt.

We eat a lot of yoghurt so I thought I would invest in this. So far I have found that the greek style is better if only left for the barest minimum of time specified, it gets a bit too acidic for me if left longer. I like the plain yoghurt and have recently purchased the fruit selection but not made them yet. It is simplicity to make and lasts well in the fridge (if it gets that far!)

I bought this on Saturday and made my first batch of yogurt straight away. Soooo easy!! And very nice yogurt too. I can see this thing saving me a fortune as I buy a lot of yogurt. I can also see it leading to some interesting experiments with flavourings - but at least I'll know what the flavouring is!

Delicious and very easy”
by Ms Carpenter
I recently purchased this after much thought and I'm very glad I did. Yoghurts sold in shops are overprocessed and full of additives. EasiYo is very easy to make and absolutely delicious. It tastes far better than shop yoghurt - fresher, with much more flavour and not overly sweetened. I didn't add sugar to the mix and found it tasted just right, not sweet but not too sour either. The fruit squirt was very nice and added some sweetness. I bought a box of fruit flavours too and they are also delicious. I shall definately buy more. Highly recommended.

So Easy With Great Results”
I purchased my yogurt maker starter kit a couple of months ago and have been making my own yogurt ever since. OK, it takes twelve hours, but I just put mine on early evening and have gorgeous fresh yogurt first thing in the morning. It's great to have a supply of fresh yogurt to use as and when and also the advantage of storing sachets in the cupboards for use at a later date, something your cant do with shop bought yogurt because of its short shelf life.

I bought this kit a few years ago and was happy to see it is still going strong. I have bought a second kit from our nearest Lakeland shop. I like the slimmer yogurt packs and the fruit flavours are lovely. It works out quite cheap and I always have fresh yogurt on hand in the fridge. So very easy to use. With extra storage jars there is no reason to buy ready made yogurt. I also use a strainer and can make extra thick cheesey yogurts to add to baking or on top of pancakes. All in all a great product.

I am really very impressed with this product which was given to me as a Christmas present. I had read all of the reviews on the Lakeland site before I asked for it and I was a little concerned about whether it would work as several reviewers seemed to experience problems with the yoghurt not setting. Since receiving it I have made 2 batches of raspberry, 1 of toffee, 1 strawberry and 1 mango yoghurt. All have been a success, with a lovely creamy, thick texture and a delicious flavour. Both of my children take a pot to school each day and it is proving much more economical that buying yoghurts each week. The flavours have all been well received (the toffee being their least favourite so far). It is extremely easy to make a batch of yoghurt, taking no more than 5 minutes (and that is allowing time for the kettle to boil). Go on, buy one!

We have used this product on several occasions. We bought it because our two year old son loves yoghurt. So far we have had natural, strawberry, cherry and lemon and all have set and all yummy. Would recommend to anyone who would prefer to make their own. Only down side is not much cheaper than to just buy a pot of yoghurt from supermarket. Only 4 stars because of the price otherwise it would have been a 5.
