“Disappointing product

I bought this from Lakeland because of the promising sales description and its seemingly heavy construction. However, in use it failed to push much of the garlic through the holes and the "self cleaning" feature didn't work too well. More importantly, these comments are now a thing of the past because whilst using it today there was a loud crack from the hinge, and the garlic press broke into two parts across the hinge. Not impressed!

I'll be in touch shortly to help.The buyer has commented: I found that the press worked well with just a small slice of garlic left on the grid, which is normal when using a garlic press. This can then be easily removed by turning the handle round so the spikes dislodge the left over garlic from the grid. The user then needs to lift away the left over slice of garlic. I then cleaned the press by hand using a washing up brush to make sure the garlic was removed from all areas or the press can be placed in the dishwasher.

“Don't Buy It

i bought this garlic press because I know that Good Grips products are usually really good but this is awful. The ONLY good thing about it is cleaning it. There is always at least half the clove left in the chamber and I have to take it out and chop it on the board - what's the point.
DONT BUY IT!!!!

“Doesn't do the job

I wish I'd read the other reviews before I bought this - I'm afraid it just doesn't work. More than 3/4 of the clove is left in the press.
