“Excellent the product works

I have just ordered another one, I purchased this sometime ago and put it away and forgot about it. When cleaning out the tins cupboard I found the pastry crisper and decided to test it making a treacle tart. Turned out beautiful. I would recommend this product.

“DEEPER SIDES PLEASE

I have had two of these for some time and the perforated base works wonders, BUT please could we have one with slightly deeper sides - say 1½ inches, especially useful for savoury flans!

“Not Quite (but nearly) Perfect

This is a good idea and it does help the base to cook through but the metal is so thin. If you take the ring off near the end of the cooking the base bends and it's easy to buckle the flan. I thought of putting it back in the oven on a baking tray but that rather defeats having holes in the base, I suppose.
I'm afraid I've got used to the vastly superior quality of the "My Kitchen" range and I won't stray away from it again.
