“i brought 2 but one 1 is ok so far

i brought 2 of these as a present at xmas time, but the non stick has come of one of them and is unusable.. dissapointed as the other on is fine!

Please note: As the coating is non-stick metal utensils should not be used, the heat needs to be the highest it can be but extreme heat,especially with no contents in the pan may damage the coating.I hope this information helps.

I ve now had 2 little woks and the same problem has occured with both. I wanted it as it is a perfect size and can be used on induction hobs but find that the food sticks. Also the non stick has come off in little spots and gone rusty. It has also come off around the rim in parts. Still love the idea of it but disappointed with the quality. Everything from Lakeland is usually first class.

“fab size , disappointing performance

I am a long established fan of Lakeland and have purchased many items. Was thrilled to find this little wok as the size was absolutely perfect. However I was truly disappointed with the performance. Food stuck readily to the base and the non stick surface has peeled off. I am no longer able to use it as I was finding non stick black bits in my noodles. I've not been put off from shopping in Lakeland as this is the first of many products that I have ever had a problem with. My score is divided as the size of the wok is fantastic but the performance let it down.

“Little 'sticky' Wok

Bought the Little Wok as I thought its size would be ideal. Very disappointed with it. Everything sticks and is hard to get clean. I would not recommend this to anyone. The idea is good but the product isn't.

I agree with all the other comments, great size for one person stir-fries but the pan is unstable and the non-stick coating is not non-stick and has started to come off and rust. It is difficult to get clean after use. Very disappointing!

“Excellent for the money

I've been using my Little Wok for a few years now and have to agree that it is a little wobbly on my gas hob - but it is a wok and has the correct shape for stirfrying rather than a flat bottom like a standard pan. I've also noticed the non-stick coating is wearing off: I've never understood non-stick woks when all the best professional use ones are plain carbon steel and just need seasoning to avoid the need for Teflon. Maybe a plain carbon steel version with a stand might be good? All in all I love it!

This is just a fantastic little wok. I use it on my stove and its perfect for small amounts of stirfry veg etc. Excellent. Thankyou Lakeland

“Disappointing

I've only used mine a couple of times and the non-stick surface has come away and the bottom of the pan has gone rusty. I've got cheaper pans that have lasted a lot longer.

“A wonderful wok
”

This is far more than a wok for one. I use it every day not just for stir frying but also for scrambling eggs, heating through beans and general light frying. We have a range and an induction hob and it's great on both. Even my husband uses it and he can't cook - or says he can't!

I bought this for my student son.Both he and his flat mate tell me that it's excellent for stir fries,but brilliant for scrambled eggs! Easy to clean, their favourite pan.

I like the wok, it's perfect for small amounts but you really do have to watch it as it' very unstable on the gas hob. The weight balance isn't quite right. If it was steadier I would probably buy a couple more.

I find the Little Wok excellent for small amounts of stir-frying. No problem with food sticking. The only complaint would be its instability on the gas ring - it tips over very easily so it's essential to hold the handle throughout the cooking process, especially when heating the oil prior to adding the food.

I am so delighted with this pan. I use a wok a lot for all sorts of cooking and find this size is excellent for small quantities. I have an induction hob and finding useful pans is not always easy.It is also essential to regulate the heat as it is easy to burn foods with this heat source.

“disappointing food sticks all the time

I bought this a few months ago from my local store and have used it a few times and every time the food sticks and it is wobbly on the gas ring. Not impressed at all. One star for nice size for one but not a good product. Not sure if this one was tested at Lakeland but certainly doesn't match up to their normal standard.

Food burns and sticks to bottom, and has lifted the coating in places after only two uses. Handle is heavy, making the pan unstable, and the angle it sticks out at makes it difficult to hang or stack when storing. Nice price, shame about the quality.

The only reason your customers were burning their wok is because they were not putting it on a ring the same size as the bottom of the wok.

“Little wok

Very disappointed in this item, I find it unstable to use with my gas cooker, as it tips over with the weight of the handle. It will probably sit in the back of the cupboard, unused!

I have bought two of these woks - perfect for me I thought, and was really excited - used for mince at first having followed all of the preparation instructions, firstly I thought that maybe I had had the heat to high and so that is the why the food stuck and wouldn't shift for love nor money .. after a few more disastrous uses I finally binned the product and ordered another and was very thorough in checking how I used the item - but the damage was worse than the first time. I am extremely disappointing as I spend a lot in Lakeland both on line and in-store !!
