Lakeland Ice Cube Bags x 50

4.8 stars out of 5 based on 4 reviews.

Making ice cubes couldn't be more straightforward.

Fill the bag with water, freeze then flex the frozen bag, so all the cubes fall to the bottom.

Amazingly, these bags seal themselves.

Handy, even though I can't make them work properly! by Miss Phipps

Lakeland Ice Cube Bags x 50

These are really handy as they take up so little space and make so many ice cubes. However, I can't make them 'flex' so that 'all the ice cubes fall the bottom' as advertised! When I try to flex a frozen bag either it just bends a bit and nothing happens (except that I get very cold hands) or the perforations between the cubes tear and I end up with ice cubes flying everywhere. It might just be me! I still find them really handy though and just rip the perforations to release the cubes as I need them.

Lakeland Ice Cube Bags x 50

I love these bags - the really easy way to make ice cubes. There's a knack to getting the frozen ice cubes to 'drop down' inside the bag without splitting the bag but once you've got it, no more cold fingers.

Lakeland Ice Cube Bags x 50

I don't have a shelf in my freezer to freeze ice cubes in an ice cube tray so really need to use bags. I bought these because they self-seal and so save messing with tying knots in the top. I was fairly careful with flexing the bag once frozen, having read a couple of reviews, but had no problems with the bag splitting. Wonderful idea because it saves the hassle of trying to tear them out of the individual sections.
