“If you cook, you'll need this

I am always on the look-out for efficient and money-saving products. Soup n' Sauce Bags meets both criteria. It allows me to cook in large quantities then store the food tidily, in suitable portions, and labelled clearly. Because of this I can also take advantage of supermarket promotions, to buy fresh ingredients in family-size quantities, which would otherwise be too much for the two of us. Another benefit it brings is that I can work or go out without worrying about my husbnand's dinner, knowing that there are home-cooked meals stocked up, so he would not need to order take-away.

“Soup N Sauce bags

This is a very usefull product, I use them all the time to store sauces as they take up very little room in the freezer but I found that the 1.5 Litre size more usefull. Will this make a comeback.

Think these bags are simply 'souper'!! Would be wonderful if could be obtained in half litre size for smaller amounts of liquids etc.

“Love them but....

These bags are excellent, sturdy and importantly stay upright while you're trying to fill them. However, they have a lot of tight corners and are so diffiult to clean I'm pretty much resigned to them being one-use which makes them expensive. I also would love to have them in smaller sizes as not all customers cook for 4.

“Different Sizes Please

This product is an absolute blessing for storing soup and stock but a larger one would be useful for portions of stew or curry and half litre size would be great for smaller batches of stock or sauces.

I'm a bit new tangled with my soup maker and have found these bags to be fab for storing and freezing my batches of soup. Freezer filling up nicely now. Bags are really strong with great seals.

I use these bags for nearly everything I put in my freezer because I can see what's inside no need to label..and everyone who sees them asks me where did I get them!!!

These are so useful for the soups I make. Easy to pour into and store easily in the freezer. Would appreciate a smaller version for 1 portion too. Great sturdy bag. Recommended

“reliable

I make a lot of home-made soups and stews and use these for storing in the fridge and freezer. They stand up on their own, making pouring into them easy, and because they are so tough have never punctured or leaked. This has the advantage of being able to lay them flat in the freezer when still liquid, and therefore fits nicely into my freezer drawers.

“Great Product
”

This is another of my favourite products from Lakeland, the only thing I would like is bigger sizes as I have 2 hungry teenagers and sometimes 1 litre is just not enough. Please bring back the 1.5 litre and if at all possible a 2 litre would be great too. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic! they are sturdy and able to hold enough soup for four people. They are an essential for anyone that makes their own soup .... great for those tomato gluts right now!

These are brilliant bags for batch weighing out your own dry bread ingredients to prepare and store a 'ready mix' for quick use. They hold comfortably the ingredients for 500g flour etc. and the wide neck means my weighing pan fits in so no spills.

“Simple but Brilliant

I did think when I bought these that they were a bit extravagant, but now I've used them, I'm converted. The quality is very good, they're easy to fill and they stand up well to being frozen and transported.

“soup n sauce bags
”

Looking for something to freeze soups and sauces in I came across these in the catalogue. What an excellent product, simple and effective. Use them in the freezer and microwave, and I have been known to re-use them as they are of a durable quality. Useful in transporting liquids to family and friends. Well worth the money!

“Bring back the 1.5 litre bag please!

This is a brilliant product and great for keeping 'portion sized' homemade soups in... however I really miss the 1.5 litre size because as a tougher bag with gusset and area for writing contents on it is perfect for keeping cables in. I use them for all my camera cables, chargers, power cables etc and can see at a glance which bag I need! Please bring them back :(
