Chilled Milkby Jane Saxon

4 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

This is a great little flask, perfect size and ideal for our guestroom beverage tray rather than give our guests the UHT milk portions. They are best washed and dried then keep them in the fridge without the lids on so they are cooled ready to put cold milk in. The milk stays fresh & cold until morning. It would be better if the flask was designed to be dishwasher proof. Excellent product but a little expensive at nearly £17 each.

Flask by Brian

1 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

The flask works better if chilled for five minutes before use with cold water or better still, placed in the fridge. When empty just wash carefully with washing up liquid paying attention to the cap seal and opening to the flask. If by mistake any remaining milk is left in the the flask and happens to ‘go off’, clean the flask internal surface thoroughly with a brush (and maybe some bi-carbonate of soda) with particular attention paid to the cap seal (maybe remove) using a mild abrasive cleaner, rinse the flask and cap and place both in the fridge (unassembled) for five minutes before refilling and all should be well

Just the jobby Sarah Clifford

5 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

This flask is perfect. A bit more money than I wanted to spend, but I'm pleased with it, just the job for taking milk to work for my hot drinks. Thank you.

Good, but limitedby Miss Hein

4 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

Bought this flask few years ago, used it regularly for milk on the go. Recently switched baby to bottled milk and started using this flask to keep a small amount of boiled water with me so I could slightly warm her powdered milk without having to hunt for a microwave. The water cools down very quickly, but also the flask has developed a dent in it where the flask is very hot to touch on first filling. I thought it got bashed in my bag, but dent is getting worse. I came on here to get a replacement, and now see that the description has been amended. Perhaps time to source a hot mini flask?

Indispensible milk bottleby Mr Andrew Lovell

The Little Vacuum Flask

I use my thermos at least once a week. The body is washed in the dishwasher. The cap has to be taken to pieces to clean it properly, or it smells. Couldn't be without it!

Cold coffeeby Howard

1 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

I bought this flask because it seemed ideal for one cup of strong Americano coffee to keep me awake when driving home in the late afternoon. In the morning I filled the flask with boiling water and let it stand a few minutes, then emptied it and added the freshly brewed coffee. I noticed with alarm that heat had already been conducted to the outer casing. In the afternoon the coffee was stone cold. I'll take this back to the shop for a refund, but please amend the description to warn future customers that this flask might be suitable for cold milk but not for hot coffee.

Perfect for a teasmadeby Mrs Hope

5 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

Having hunted high and low to solve the age old problem of where to put the milk for a teasmade, I looked everywhere for a small flask. This is the tiniest flask on the market and is absolutely perfect for milk. If you run the cold tap inside the flask for a couple of minutes before adding the milk from fridge then the milk is still cold in the morning. There is 200ml in the flask, which is probably enough for about 4 cups of tea.

Great little flask. Just found out that you can store tea bags / sugar in lid. Didn't mention this on packaging etc

not suitable for hot foodby rosemary

1 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

Ideal size for sending soup for a lunch, but in spite of prewarming and making sure soup is piping when preparing, it is too cold to enjoy within 5 hours

Great for kid's school milk breakby Meriel Aspinall

4 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

My daughter is lactose intolerant and uses this great little flask to take her Lactofree milk to school for milk break. She loves it because it means she doesn't feel left out when all her friends have theirs. It's particularly good on hot days because we know the milk will still be fresh at break time. Another bonus is that because of the wide neck it's really easy to clean (very important when it's used for milk every day!). It has lasted really well, being used 5 days a week for the last 2 years but the seal has now perished & fallen apart as other customers have said. I hate waste & would love to be able to purchase a new seal so that I could keep using what is otherwise a hardy little flask.

Excellent flask, whilst the seal lastby Janet

4 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

I bought this little flask about 2 years ago and it has been very well used. Its an ideal size to carry just the right amount of milk to work each day for my tea and lunch break. It keeps the milk fresh without fail. However, the lid ring seal has perished and the flask now leaks. Like the other reviewer, I would also be very glad to purchase a new ring seal for the lid from the manufacturer,- as the flask itself is still perfect.

Disappointingby Christine

1 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

I bought this flask as a container for milk for picnics. The first one I purchased leaked as the finish of the rim was uneven. A replacement was supplied and this one is OK, but it dribbles when pouring and the lid is not easy to clean. I did not realise there is a seal that can be removed until I found an accumulation of stale milk inside it. No instructions for cleaning were provided. I do still use the flask although cleaning is fiddly. A good idea but poor design.

The Little Vacuum Flask

A fantastic little flask - just right for milk with the teasmade! However the seal on the lid has perished over the months. It would be great just to be able to replace the lid as there is nothing wrong with the flask itself.

Leaky loserby Mrs Julie Humphries

3 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

Bought this flask approximately 2 years ago which has been used monday to friday. Initially it didn't leak, and kept liquid cold. However the little seal inside the top of the lid started to perish, and now the flask is no longer useable as it leaks. Reluctant to purchase another one incase it has the same problem.

The Little Vacuum Flask

I wanted to get a small flask for my husband to take to work. He doesn't drink a lot of tea/coffee so a big one would be a waste. I got this mini flask after reading the review that suggested it kept drinks hot for several hours. It doesn't. Very disappointed.

The Little Vacuum Flask

We have had one of these now for about 2years and it has been in use daily doing a stirling job. However it started leaking as the plastic seal was starting to perish and we cant seem to buy just a replacement. Did buy a new one but would love to get just the seal as it seems such a waste.

Perfect!by Linda

5 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

I bought one of these several years ago as a gift for a friend who uses soya milk. It's just the right size from him to slip into his bag or pocket when visiting friends or teashops - and it has been used by him almost daily ever since. I've now bought one for myself so that he can have his perfectly chilled soya milk and I can have my perfectly chilled semi-skimmed when we're out and about together!

Handy little flaskby Sheila Murray

5 stars out of 5

The Little Vacuum Flask

This flask is ideal for taking milk along with a larger flask for tea or coffee. It keeps the milk beautifully cold and we use it a lot. It is also good to be able to put it in the dishwasher afterwards so that there is no worry about it smelling of milk which hasn't been washed off properly.

A note from the team: We would just like to advise that all products which are dishwasher safe are marked with a 'D' symbol in both the catalogue and on the website. The Little Vacuum Flask isn't actually recommended for use in the dishwasher, which is why there is no symbol displayed against it. We would therefore advise against using this item in the dishwasher.
